Favourite Moment of the Day — Part II

1 Jun

Remember when we discussed favourite moment of the day on Monday?

I’m writing in advance today. I’m pretty sure I can already tell you what my favourite moment of the day is going to be. We’re going to land in Cyprus late this afternoon. We’re going to drive to my village of Kissonerga under a pink late afternoon sky. And just before the crazy little road that goes up through the banana fields to our house, I’m going to pull off to the left to what’s known as Sandy Beach. I’m going to walk with my husband to the water and say, ‘I’ve waited so long for you to see this. This is that place that I call my home.’

Love this post Chris! I had the same experience last fall when my husband and I travelled to my birth island of Brač, Croatia. I felt so much pride showing him where my roots lie. He also discovered that many of my quirky personality traits came from there as well. Ha!

    Happy travels!

Have a great holiday Chris and Spencer and I would be lying to say I am not envious. What a beautiful place and the “Footprints in the Sand” sent a ton of thoughts through my mind.
