Hot Chocolate on a Stick

1 Mar

As I was driving through a blizzard yesterday afternoon, I realized that I’m beyond winter pep talks. I need something more.

And that’s when I discovered something better — hot chocolate (drumroll, please) on a  stick!

I was on an assignment to check out a new chocolate shop (Let’s all pause for a moment and appreciate the wonder that is my job — if you would go so far to call it that.) Called Coppeneur, it’s the first retail shop in Canada for this German chocolate company. They make all kinds of wonderful chocolate bars, including my new favourite flavour, Chili and Highland Whiskey. In my head, I call it How Not To Fit Into Your Jeans.

They also make a hot chocolate called [tchocolat!] on a stick. Check it out:

It’s basically a 35 g chocolate lollipop. The catalog calls it a chocolate fruit. I like that.

To make, heat up some milk. Let’s give the Aeroccino a little love, shall we?

Then, you drop the chocolate lollipop in, wait, stir,

…stir some more, add more milk and, there you have it, a perfect “Welcome to March” concoction:

And, it’s a very good motivation for my bike ride/yoga combo planned for tomorrow.

Have a great day!
